Travelling from points North

Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway (I-95/ I-495 South) towards Annapolis/Richmond. Take 95 South to Route 50 West (Washington). Follow Route 50 West and it will become New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you join Massachusetts Avenue. This will happen near 7th Street. This is a high traffic area so please be careful. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue. Follow Massachusetts through the tunnel (this is under Thomas Circle), you will then go through the next circle (Scott Circle) continuing on Massachusetts Avenue. Two blocks after Scott Circle you will make a left onto 18th Street. Go one block and turn left onto N Street. The Topaz Hotel will be halfway down the block on the left hand side of the street.

Travelling from points South

Take I-95 North to I-395 North to the 14th Street Bridge. As the lanes split, follow signs to Route 1 North/ 14th Street as you are crossing the bridge. Route 1 becomes 14th Street. Continue on 14th Street until you get to I Street. Turn left onto I Street. Turn right onto 18th Street. After you cross M Street stay to your right. You will cross straight over a very large intersection (Connecticut Avenue). Stay to the right and you will come to a small intersection (N Street). Turn right onto N Street. The Topaz Hotel will be halfway down the block on the left side of the street.

Travelling from points East

Follow Route 50 West and it will become New York Avenue. Stay on New York Avenue until you join Massachusetts Avenue. This will happen near 7th Street. Travelling from points West

Take Route 66 East. Stay on 66 East and you will go over the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. As you cross the bridge, stay in the left lane and take the "E" Street exit. Follow all signs for E Street. The Freeway will come to an end at a stop light. For reference that light is 20th Street. Stay on E Street until you come to 18th Street. At 18th Street make a left and after you cross M Street stay to your right. You will cross straight over a very large intersection (Connecticut Avenue). Stay to the right and you will come to a small intersection (N Street). Turn right onto N Street the Topaz Hotel will be halfway down the block on the left
side of the street.

Directions to points North, South, East, West, and Northwest

Traveling to points North

Exit Hotel to the left on N Street and go one block to 17th Street. Turn left onto 17th Street. Go to Massachusetts Avenue and turn right. You will continue into the traffic circle and around one-half turn and stay on Massachusetts Avenue. Stay in the middle lane of Massachusetts Avenue as you get closer to 9th Street. The middle lane will lead you onto New York Avenue. Once on New York Avenue continue to either the Baltimore Washington Parkway (295) or 95 North.

Travelling to points South

Exit Hotel to the left on N Street and go one block to 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th Street and go one block to Rhode Island Avenue. Turn right onto Rhode Island Avenue, and continue forward and join into M Street. Continue to 19th Street and turn left. Take 19th Street until the end and make a left turn onto Constitution Avenue. Go five blocks to 14th Street and make a right turn. This will lead you over the 14th Street Bridge and become 395 South and eventually join into 95 South. (For guests travelling to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport follow signs as you travel over the 14th Street Bridge for the airport, which are on your right).

Travelling to points East

Follow the Directions under Travelling to points North. Once on New York Avenue, follow all signs for 50 East (Annapolis).

Travelling to points West

Exit Hotel to the left on N Street and go one block to 17th Street. Turn right onto 17th Street and go one block to Rhode Island Avenue. Turn right onto Rhode Island Avenue, and continue forward and join into M Street. Continue to 19th Street and turn left. Take 19th Street until it ends at Constitution Avenue and make a right turn. Constitution Avenue will lead you over the Roosevelt Bridge. Follow signs for Route 66 West. (If travelling to Dulles Airport follow 66 West to the Dulles Access Road).

Travelling to points Northwest

Exit Hotel to the left on N Street and go one block to 17th Street. Turn left onto 17th Street. Go toMassachusetts Avenue and turn left. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue approximately 2 miles to Wisconsin Avenue. You will know you are coming to Wisconsin as you reach the top of the incline. Make a right on Wisconsin Avenue. Continue on Wisconsin Avenue until you see signs for 270 North.
