General

  • Q.What is check in/check out time?
    A.

    Check in is at 3 PM and check out is at 12 noon.
  • Q.Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
    A.

    The hotel is entirely non smoking.
  • Q.How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?


    A.Complimentary high speed Ethernet is available in the guestrooms. Complimentary wireless is available throughout the hotel.
  • Q.Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?


    A.The hotel does not have a fitness center. There are Exercise guestrooms and Yoga guestrooms that provide a personal private work out space.
  • Q.Do you offer room service? What are the hours?


    A.Room service hours are as follows: breakfast is delivered from 7 AM to 10:30 AM and dinner is delivered from 5 PM to 10:30 PM.
  • Q.Do you have a business center?


    A.The business center is located behind the front desk.
  • Q.Do you have a pool?


    A.The hotel does not have a pool.
  • Q.Do you have a spa? What are the hours?

Transportation/Directions

  • Q.How do I get to the Hotel?

  • Q.Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?

    There is no complimentary shuttle service. Please contact the concierge for transportation assistance.
  • Q.What are your cross streets?
    A.

    The hotel is located on N Street Northwest between 17th and 18th Streets.
  • Q.Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
    A.

    Valet parking is available on property. It is 24 hours with in-and-out privileges. It is not included in the room rate. Overnight parking costs $35 ($50 for oversized vehicles) and day parking costs $20. Eco-Friendly vehicles get complimentary parking. [Top]

Reservations

  • Q.Will your rooms allow rollaways/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
    A.

    Yes, however, not all rooms allow rollaways as defined by the fire code. The extra charge is $20 per night for a rollaway.
  • Q.I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
    A.

    If you made a reservation using a non Kimpton website please contact your service provider directly to make modifications to your reservation.
  • Q.What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?
    A.

    The minimum age requirement to check into the hotel is 18 years old. A 16 year old may check into the hotel with written permission from the parent or legal guardian accepting full responsibility for all room charges, incidentals and any other fees.
  • Q.What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
    A.

    Reservations booked at the Best Available Rate have a 24 hour cancellation policy or 6 PM the day prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. For all other reservations please check with the booking provider for details on the cancellation/deposit policies.
  • Q.Is my ID/passport required at check in?
    A.

    A valid government issued photo ID is required at the time of check in.
  • Q.What age do kids stay for free?
    A.

    Children under the age of 17 stay for free.
  • Q.Do you have connecting rooms?
    A.

    The hotel does not have connecting rooms.
  • Q.Do you have ADA rooms?
    A.

    The hotel has ADA rooms. Some ADA rooms have a tub and others a roll in shower. Please specify any special requests at the time of booking or during check in so that we may make your stay more comfortable.
  • Q.Do you have an early departure fee?

Restaurant

  • Q.What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?

    Topaz Bar serves breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. Dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The bar is open late. [Top]

Billing

  • Q.I have questions about my bill. Who do I call?

  • Q.What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?
    A.

    A valid credit card is required to check into the hotel. Payments in cash, by credit card, or travelers check (personal checks are NOT accepted) are accepted at check out. [Top]

Pets

  • Q.Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?


    A.The hotel is pet friendly and there are no pet restrictions, as long its under 200 pounds. We request that during check-in a pet waiver form is completed and that the pet is caged or out of the room during housekeeping service.
  • Q.Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?


    A.Guests may request a pet free room.
  • Q.Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?


    A.Guests may request pet services including but not limited to pet sitting, dog walking, and pet spa services by contacting the front desk.
  • Q.How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?


    A.DuPont Circle is the most popular dog walking park for locals in the neighborhood. This park is two blocks from the hotel. Please see the front desk for a map and directions. [Top]
